We Should demand transparency options in social media platforms for all American citizens.
American citizens (especially the American youth) are being misled more often than not by foreign social media users on platforms such as Twitter and the YouTube comments section and it is vital to our nation that we take this seriously. The American media and many of our political leaders have been made aware of foreign organized social media propaganda teams that have been hard at work on messaging apps and the mainstream social communication platforms for some time now.
Yet still, our youth in America are too often confronted in social media by users that masquerade as American youth or citizens of the United States for the sole purpose of manipulation and bullying. The so-called cancel culture on Twitter is made up of mostly foreign users. It’s a fact that 80% of Twitter users are from outside of the United States.
